what's in me today (or rather earlier this week, when this was written)
What's in me is a word of thanks
To the cute guy behind me at the coffeeshop
You offered to split a cookie
(which I didn't accept - caught off guard, and I already had two cookies)
Just a cookie but it felt like hope
Nothing more, yet all I needed
All that was required for a little extra wiggle...
So thank you.
And as for the One who made you,
Guess I'll thank Him, too
